IMDb title #0000015: 'Autour d'une cabine' (Émile Reynaud, 1894)
Originally 15 minutes in length, Reynaud's 'Around a Cabin' is an animated film designed to showcase his Théâtre Optique, much like his previous film also discussed in this series, 'Pauvre Pierrot' from 1892. This 1894 effort is more sophisticated and elaborate, but I say this in the most 'relative' sense of the words.
Unfortunately, all that survives now is what you see in the video here. The film has been partially reconstructed, but is not accurate to how the animation was exhibited in the 1890s.
